Icing the shoulder with an ice bag for 15 to 20 minutes, three or four times a day for two to three days can help reduce pain. Or using a shoulder support can further relieve the pain.


Cervical Pain: Cervical spondylosis is usually an age-related condition that affects the joints in your neck. It develops as a result of the wear and tear of the cartilage and bones are of the cervical spine. While it is largely due to age, it can be caused by other factors as well. Alternative names for it include cervical osteoarthritis and neck arthritis. Using a heating pad or a cold pack on your neck can also provide pain relief for sore muscles. Getting regular exercise can help you recover faster. Wearing a soft neck brace or collar can give you relief.


Elbow Pain: If you have elbow pain, a number of disorders could be the culprit. Overuse and sports injuries cause many elbow conditions. For example, golfers, baseball pitchers, tennis players, and boxers often have elbow disorders. Elbow disorders may involve arm muscles, elbow ligaments, tendons, and bones in the arm. The treatments for elbow disorders depend on the underlying cause. You can treat your elbow pain with ice bags, or by using elbow padding, elbow supports or bracing suitably.
