Very convenient for long trips Review by Vineet

I have been using this product for years. I carry a small one in my purse/pocket for my Pen and the larger one for longer trips holds a bottle of Insulin and the Pen too. Syringes and pen tips fit into the outside bag.I've been a diabetic for 44 years and have seen improvements come along periodically, this is one of the best. As long as you keep it wet (feels dry to the touch), out of direct sun and exposed to air circulation, your insulin is cool. (Posted on 10/15/15)
Nice and Cool Review by Fernandes

The Frio Packs work just like they claim to. However one must follow the directions that are plainly given. Soak the inner pack as directed. Allow air to circulate around the pack (don't stuff in a tight corner) Keep out of direct sunlight. When time runs out, re-soak. Do that and they work beautifully. I have worn them over my insulin pump tucked up against me with the front side to fresh air and they kept it nice and cool. (Posted on 10/15/15)

I bought this for my insilin pens to take on a long plane trip. It will be great not to have to carry a bulky lunch box. It stays cool for a long time. (Posted on 10/15/15)

This product works alright for what it is. It is not very consistent, but I think that is to be expected with something like this. It isn't really supposed to replace a fridge after all! The only problems i have with it is this: if you do not allow it adequate time to air out after soaking, it will get all of your stuff wet in your bag/suitcase. I also had this weird issue where I used ice water to activate the crystals, and the crystals actually froze and created frost around my insulin. My insulin didn't freeze, but it was getting close to the danger zone. As long as you only use the temperature of water that you want you stuff to stay at, and give it time to dry off before throwing it in a bag, I think it works great! (Posted on 10/15/15)
You can't expect better Review by Samy

Frio is an interesting and helpful product, I have to travel with my drugs that need refrigeration and this is The Best. An insulated ice pack lasts about 4 hours for me, after that it is melts but still remains cool. An LA-NY flight's worth of cool, unless you have to get luggage, wait in line for a cab, and get into the city. So it used to be a pain begging ice off stewardesses who were running low & trying to get ready to land. Which makes it all troublesome. But with this particular thing I am at ease forever. As a frequent traveler for business and other needs I always needs frio insulin cooling travel wallet, so I make order and got the product very quickly. I was very surprised on how it stayed cold and also on how long it stayed that way. Very true that it is not like having it in the frig but it did stay cool enough to keep my insulin cool.
